Single Helianthus notecard with envelope
One individually wrapped notecard with envelope
The following description appears on the back of the card:
Helianthus or Sunflower, is a large genus of annuals and perennials and is revered for its edible seeds and oil. Most sunflowers are native to North and Central America. The sunflower is actually composed of the distinctive center disk flowers that mature into seeds. These disk flowers, set in a spiral pattern. are oriented to each other by the “golden angle” thus producing, mathematically, the most efficient number of seeds in the flower head. Surrounding the center disk are ray flowers that resemble petals and come in yellow, red, orange shades. In the language of flowers the sunflower symbolizes adoration, loyalty, longevity and happiness.
